Scope of application

• Purchased brand new HDB860 from the smart selections's online shop
• Product serial number with a prefix of 196 or 198
• If your set-top box is not in the range stated above, the upgrade will damage your set-top box. smart selection would not responsible for this.

Upgrade method

• Check your HDB860 was purchased from the smart selections online shop and that the first 3 digits of the serial number are 196 or 198
• Download TEAC_3336_0001.bin file from the link HDB860 Firmware
• Copy TEAC_3336_0001.bin into USB flash drive
• Insert the USB flash drive to HDB860 USB socket at front panel
• Step-by-step access to menus, systems, software upgrades and USB upgrade using the remote control
• Choose TEAC_3336_0001.bin and press OK to start upgrade
• The screen will show the progress of the upgrade until 100% when the upgrade is completed
